Instructions for completing specific sections of the Offer to Purchase Real Estate

Section 1.
Fill in the following areas:

• Circle either City, Township or Village, and print the name
• Legal description of property, or attach copy of tax bill or deed
• Property address, if applicable
• Any additional items included in the sale

Complete the appropriate category for manner of sale/payment and strike out the remainder.

Section 3.
Fill in number of days after title work is completed you wish to close the transaction. This is generally 30-45 days.

Section 6.
Indicate if possession will be given at close. If Seller(s) will be vacating property at a later date, please indicate the date or number of days and the daily rate for escrow if applicable.

Section 7.
Taxes in Otsego County are collected in arrears.

Section 9.
Fill in amount of deposit. Seller may retain, or may choose to have Title Company hold the funds in escrow.

Section 11.
Please indicate any additional conditions to close in the space provided, or attach an addendum page if necessary.

The State of Michigan no longer requires your signature to be witnessed.
